Rubber Bumper

Bumpers are designed to reduce friction in the component they are used and the design and toughness of the bumper depends on the complexity of the component involved. If the component is that of a car, it is obvious that they should be capable of resisting extreme vibrations. Rubber bumpers are an inevitable item in our daily life, the furniture that we use, the electronic accessories that we use, the machines that we use all have different types of rubber bumpers fixed.

The basic idea behind using this product as a buffering item is to reduce the wear and tear that would otherwise happen if it were to be in direct contact with each other. They can be even found in weight lifting arenas where athletes use bumper discs that do not cause damage to the floor even when they are dropped. Bumpers are designed in a variety of shapes and styles, each one to be used in a particular component. The cost of these bumpers depends on its type and even though they can be bought from any hardware store, the internet would be a better option since you get to browse through different varieties and also compare prices easily.
